87. Green
Green is the color of new birth, new beginnings. Like the young shoots and leaves of spring, it is a vibrant yellow green which signifies emergence and regeneration.
Green is the color of beginners! It contains all the virtuosity and enthusiasm of “firsts”; first timers and first time events.
Green is the engine of innovation and new think. Green happens when genuine NEED gives rise to NEW WAYS; and as long as it stays true it is endowed with a natural immunity to the past…
Green seeks truth in everything; it refreshes, cleanses, and even purges the dusty, rusty stagnation of complacency and compromise.
Green is bold and bright, but can fizzle out like a meteorite if it doesn’t have the foundations to support its initiative spark.
Green is the cleansing wit and humor that cuts through pretense and hypocrisy without pain.
Green without principle can be punitive and mean, envious and scheming. It is high octane fuel that needs to be handled with care.
Green is the color of originality, genuinely so! It is also about being true and honorable to the ‘spirit’ of the origins of something over the ‘letter’.
Green asks – “What now?” and “What’s next?”
Green learning happens by experience, first time every time! Teaching in essence, is a creative process. The assumption of expertise is anathema to green.
Green is the song of generosity, the spirit of forgiveness and the light of learning!
So do a little jig and jingle with a pixilated grin; a little green goes a long, long way, so allow yourself to begin again!
